Dr Dipti McGowan

PhD (Clinical Psychology), BSocSc (Psych) (Hons), MAPS, FCCLP

The Principal Psychologist at Insight Works, Dipti has experience working with clients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. Dipti provides a professional environment in which clients feel safe, secure and relaxed and can work towards improving their wellbeing and quality of life.

Dipti delivers compassionate, evidence-based therapies to help her clients alleviate their distress and live fuller lives. She works with individuals and groups, helping them to acquire insight and understanding of their life experiences.

Dipti is a Clinical Psychologist and completed her research PhD on the impact of mindfulness and self-compassion for people affected by cancer.

Dr Geraldine Townend

PhD, MEd, BSc (Hons), PGCE

Geraldine is an internationally published academic and speaker, a research fellow, Department of Education advisor, and a university lecturer who has experience with supporting school students to obtain the best possible outcomes - including those students who are gifted, high-ability, have difficulties with learning, have learning disorders, are challenging or are bored in school.

Earlier in her career she was a secondary school teacher and an ‘all school-stages’ coordinator for gifted and special needs education. Her focus is on supporting all students to develop their potential in school, including those who underachieve, so that they have a sound start to live their optimal life.

Geraldine offers educational assessments and ability / achievement testing on behalf of schools and families. She provides insights, solutions and strategies to help students get the right support throughout their education.
